Tickets sales launched late in 2019 with scratch-off games. Since then, the lottery’s portfolio includes Mega Millions, Powerball, Cash 3, and Match 5.
Profits from ticket sales benefit infrastructure and education in the state. Until June 30, 2028, the first $80 million in lottery proceeds per fiscal year will be to be used for transportation improvements. Additional funds will then be directed into the Educational Enhancement Fund.

How long do I have to collect my winnings?
You have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
Where do the Mississippi Lottery funds go?
Through June 2028, lottery proceeds of up to $80 million will go toward infrastructural needs throughout the state. After $80 million, additional profits will go toward the state’s Education Enhancement Fund, benefiting the Early Childhood Learning Collaborative and Classroom Supply Fund.
